Savills Australia has boosted its Melbourne-based sales team with the appointment of three new property professionals.

MingXuan Li, Glenn Ye and Jessie Du will add to the market-leading Asian Services platform established by Benson Zhou, with the support of Dorothy He.

Mr Li joins Savills from Burgess Rawson, where he was head of Asia Markets. He will take on a senior executive role within the team.

Mr Ye will also take on a senior executive position following his previous role with Beller Commercial, where he was responsible for the company’s Asia Services provision.

Ms Du is welcomed as Asian Services team administrator and joins Savills from Melbourne Real Estate, where she assisted the team in the sales, leasing and management of an extensive apartment portfolio.

The three recruits said they possessed great confidence that Savills would provide a leap in their property careers.

“I am passionate about selling commercial real estate throughout Melbourne, and my role at Savills now allows me to provide so many more purchase opportunities to my Asia-based clientele,” Mr Ye said.

“I leapt at the opportunity to work with one of the best teams operating in the Melbourne commercial market, and am excited by the enormous volume of transactions that occur through Savills,” Mr Li said.

“Savills Australia has a wonderful reputation within the property industry and the extensive professional training provided will lead to extended opportunities,” Ms Du said.

Savills Melbourne business now has the most experienced and “potent” Asian Services team within the city’s commercial property market, with CBD & Metropolitan Sales State Director, Clinton Baxter, saying he was “delighted” to welcome the new hires to the team.

“The expansion of our team is a direct response to overwhelming support from our clients, encouraging us to grow bigger and stronger whilst providing more opportunity for capable young property professionals to flourish and take their careers to the next level,” he said.

Mr Baxter said Savills clients would continue to benefit from the agency’s enhanced market-leading Asian Services capability.

“With more than 50 percent of Savills Melbourne’s sales volume throughout the past five years comprising capital sourced from Asia, clients can confidently appoint our team in the knowledge that we will deliver the best possible platform of Asian capital seeking to enter the Melbourne market,” he said.
