In its second season, the tension in this local teen female soccer drama, airing daily, is more likely to revolve around matters of friendship and betrayal than whether or not they ought to be getting muddy. Diverse in both terms of their ethnicities and personalities, this gang gets down to the business of winning back their finals trophy.

Fargo actor John Carroll Lynch seems right at home as the beloved boss of a steel mill in this similarly strange and multi-faceted thriller set in a small American town. A dank oppression hangs over all of the intricately drawn players, from the haves to the have-nots. Through domestic scenarios and telling exchanges, it is clear all are battling demons. Right on cue, a gruesome murder sets in motion the unravelling of all of their threads. This is highly addictive summer streaming.
