In the video posted to the NSW Blues’ YouTube account, Fittler urges his players to have a team-first mentality throughout the week.

He also told his players to leave their phones in their rooms, because with five rookies in the squad, they have a limited time to get to know each other.
A host of Blues legends were present, including selector Greg Alexander, as well as Andrew Johns and Paul Sironen.
“Last year, what we found out was that we won it by wanted to defend our line,” Fittler says.
“You get to choose how much effort you want to put in. It’s pretty simple rules.
“You know how relaxed it is outside of what we do, but when you’re here and part of the team, it’s just 100 per cent. You’ve got to be in the moment and we go hard.”
