Tarrawarra Wine Lunch
An M reader and a guest have the chance to indulge in a Sunday feast inspired by TarraWarra wines at Arts Centre Melbourne's The Barre on Sunday June 23, from noon to 4pm.
Presenting TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir, 2016 and TarraWarra Pinot Noir, 2015 perfectly paired with four courses from The Barre kitchen, TarraWarra Estate winemaker Clare Halloran will share her valuable knowledge, bringing 20 years of expertise to the gathering alongside The Barre's Senior Chef de Partie, Cecilia Salvante, who will reveal her inspiration for the dishes over the course of the lunch. Melbourne Welsh Male Choir
Teaming up with Melbourne singers Silvie Paladino and Roy Best, the Melbourne Welsh Male Choir will mark the winter solstice with a concert in the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre on Saturday June 22.
We have three doubles to join them for a repertoire that will include favourites from musical theatre, traditional choral pieces and Welsh standards, along with Paladino and Best giving individual performances, pairing up for numbers in Italian and joining the choir for the Neapolitan number O Sole Mio.
