Savills Australia is delighted to appoint Michael Silvester as National Director–Valuation Best Practice, based in the Melbourne office.

Michael is a Certified Practising Valuer with 12 years’ experience in the banking sector, having previously worked for major banks Bank of Melbourne (Westpac) for eight years, as well as National Australia Bank for four years prior to this.

Michael will oversee the management and promotion of Savills National Quality Assurance processes, National Bank Panel Management, Risk Management Training and Business Development.

According to Stuart Fox, National Head of Valuation & Advisory at Savills Australia, the creation of the new role and the addition of Michael’s leadership signals a new chapter in valuation for Savills.

“Michael will provide a crucial central focus for Savills valuation best practice policies and business development opportunities in Australia,” he said.

“His appointment demonstrates our commitment to this area. It’s a great move for Savills on a national level, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
