Sedona set to return from year-long lay-off in style at Kembla

It has been a long wait for the owners of three-year-old Sedona but their patience is set to be rewarded when the gelding has his first start in a year at Kembla Grange today.

As far as compelling form lines go, Sedona boasts a pretty strong one from his only appearance to date.

It was just under a year ago that the then-colt started $6 in the Kirkham Plate and ran fourth behind Time To Reign and Bivouac and it says something about where the Peter and Paul Snowden stable thought he stood at the time.

Time To Reign, of course, would later win the group 2 Silver Slipper while Bivouac is now a group 1 winner of the Golden Rose.
