Huxtaburger has a loyal following in Melbourne and Eagle Dom Sheed is opening a store in Highgate.
Sheed, who kicked the winning goal against the Pies in the 2018 grand final, will operate the store next to Must Wine Bar with family friend Zoe Tsagalis, who remains positive the retail strip will retain its appeal despite the recent woes of some tenants.
Look out for juicy offers in the lead-up to the Highgate opening, including a $1 burger day on Saturday November 30. Its first location here was at Hibernian Place opening in April 2018.

Seasonal Brewing Co in Maylands
It didn't take long for The Seasonal Brewing Company to win over locals with their impressive array of beers and kid-friendly brew house. And now the Maylands microbrewery has scored a rare win at the State Administrative Tribunal for the right to open for brunch, lunch and (ahem) even use forklifts to move pallets of beer.
The microbrewery opened in September with restricted weekday operating hours of 5pm-10pm and 12pm-10pm on weekends after the City of Bayswater rejected an application for extended trading hours.
Seasonal Brewing Co in Maylands has scored another big win since opening recently.
To celebrate, Seasonal Brewing Co plans to launch a lunch service on Fridays and Thursdays in the lead up to the busy Christmas season.
The 300-person brewery is one of several new venues making Maylands great, with trendy bar Lyric Lane just one of its neighbours.
Brewer Brody Watts, formerly of Indian Ocean Brewing, has initially earmarked pumping out 12 beers, with eight currently available, while chef Danny Matthews, formerly at Vans and Lucky Chan's, ticks off on a menu that covers all bases, from grazing plates to pork crackling to pies and sausage rolls and, most importantly, provides value for money, with most items under $20.
Perhaps Seasonal's most alluring feature is its kid-friendly environment. A play area includes a massive sandpit outside and a thoughtful kids' menu that includes fruit, vegetables and a juice box with every meal. Oh, and pets are welcome too.

Long days, good beer
Long Days is the latest seasonal release to come out of the Little Creatures Brewery and makes the perfect summer sipper as the weather heats up. Designed to give craft beer lovers the bold flavours they crave while catering to the growing demand for sessionability and lower alcohol options, this brew is a mid-strength IPA jam-packed with copious amounts of Simcoe hops to make a passionfruit-tinged citrusy delight, balanced with malt characters and a subtle sweet caramel finish.
Long Days Little IPA is the latest mid-strength craft beer on the market, this one from Little Creatures.
Little Creatures Fremantle head brewer Russ Gosling said Long Days was dry-hopped to give the beer bags of flavour.
"It’s the little things that make a difference," Gosling said.
"Often mid-strengths are brewed at high-gravity and diluted, but sales-gravity brewing negates any dilution, so you get a nicely in-tune beer with a smooth consistency that tastes full flavoured, with a refined aroma and clean finish."
Long Days is available on tap at Little Creatures breweries and select venues, and in store from leading retailers. RRP $58 (24-case), $19 (6-pack).
