Mind-blowing price for Carlingford home

The four-bedroom 5 Herbert Place, Narellan on over 4,000 sqm.

That’s a pretty big backyard.

The home has a four car garage as well as carport.

My Property Consultants agent Luke Eagles said the home was first marketed to family buyers and is now being aimed at developers. He said intiialy there was some confusion that the listing was just ‘too big’ for families.

“The owners raised a family there and are looking to retire … they are not interested in developing the land at their stage of life and a lot of the initial inquiry was from homeowners interested in sitting on the land for the future,” he said.

One of the neat well-appointed bedrooms

The main bedroom.

“There is no existing DA in place for the property but thee is plenty of potential – it could become an even greater buy with that in place.

“The maintenance on the home has been outstanding and it is really built for today’s standards as the house has inclusions like his and hers walk-in wardrobes and a powder room downstairs. A lot of the inclusions are things you wouldn’t have thought of when the house was originally built.”

The spacious living room.

And the family room.

The functional, practical and tidy kitchen.

All bedrooms in the four-bedroom home feature built-ins, with one bedroom featuring a walk-in wardrobe and the main bedroom, along with ensuite, a his and hers walk-in wardrobe. Downstairs has a study or possible fifth bedroom and the living room has a formal lounge, formal dining room, large rumpus room and informal eating area.

The home also has a 7m x 11m alfresco entertaining area, barbecue area and storage shed and four car garage.
