According to CoreLogic records, the sale marks a new residential price record for the suburb.
The top spot was previously held by 3 Fitzroy Tce that sold for $3.6m sold in May 2019.
Presented to market by Stephanie Williams and John Williams of Williams Luxury Real Estate, the landmark property saw a lot of interest from buyers across the country.

“We had an outstanding level of interest throughout the campaign from across Australia and we weren’t surprised it fetched this price at the public auction,” Ms Williams said.
The auction was conducted by Jonathan Kiritsis and there were 8 registered bidders on the day.

The winning bid was made by a local SA family who are from the area.
Set on a 3708sqm allotment, the home has been architecturally designed by the renowned FW Dancker and has been through many generations.
