Australian limited overs cricket captain Aaron Finch and wife Amy are hoping their sophisticated house reno described as “Brighton finds Aberfeldie” bowls over buyers.
Finch and Amy have put their family home at 38 Brunel St on the market with a $3.6m-$3.8m price guide.
Raised in Colac, Finch holds the record for two of the three highest individual scores in Twenty20 Internationals.
In 2018, he became the first player to reach 900 rating points in the International Cricket Council’s Twenty20 Internationals rankings.
He has also captained the Melbourne Renegades to its first title in the Big Bash League in 2018-2019.

The couple purchased the five-bedroom house for $1.7m 2013, CoreLogic records show.
McDonald Upton Essendon agent Joe Zucco said the “stunning home” was recently renovated.
“Across three or so years they completely overhauled the property with renowned architect Nick Lukas from Architecton, whom they worked closely with,” Mr Zucco said.

Potential buyers including families have been impressed by the home’s renovation, the amount of storage space on offer and location close to schools, cafes and Maribyrnong River trails.

If the property is sold with its asking range, it will join the six Aberfeldie homes which have fetched more than $3.6m.
The suburb’s priciest pad was 140 The Boulevard which sold in May for an undisclosed figure believed to be above $7.8m.
Mr Zucco declined to comment on Brunel St’s vendors but records show Aaron and Amy are the owners.
