Influencer and reality star Davina Rankin is often touted as a Married At First Sight ‘villain’, after a cheating scandal on the show’s 2018 season.
Now, she’s enjoying life away from the drama with her husband Jaxon Manuel and their daughter, Mila-Mae.
Rankin also starred in Channel 10’s eighth season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! last year.

FIRST HOME
I was a late bloomer leaving home, which was good to save as much money as possible.
I moved out with two girlfriends and we shared a three-bedroom house in Cannon Hill, Queensland.
I had a very tiny little room, it was only about the size of a wardrobe, and there were two bathrooms, the master ensuite and the main bathroom — I got the short end of the stick and shared the latter with one of the girls.
It was a cute little space but I needed more wardrobe space and well … more everything space!

CURRENT HOME
From there, I moved in with my boyfriend (now husband) in an apartment in Morningside only slightly bigger than my closet room.
After that we decided to buy our first home in Manly on the bayside.
It’s so beautiful being close to the markets and a lovely little community — it’s the perfect place to raise our daughter.
We bought when I was pregnant so were looking for places that were family friendly and this one ticked all the boxes.
In 2020 when Covid hit we took it upon ourselves to give the house a beautiful facelift.
We built our own white picket fence, did the lawns and painted the house a gorgeous white.
It’s a beautiful post-war Queenslander cottage with a gorgeous little veranda out front, but it’s quite dated inside so we’ve done well dealing with it for the past three years.

We’re actually about to move out temporarily because it was finally time to bite the bullet and give it a complete makeover — rip out the walls and re-do the kitchen.
In the meantime we’re moving in with my Dad in Hawthorne, which is the house I grew up in.
It’s a beautiful, old Queenslander on a large block which is where my love for heritage homes came from.
Thankfully my brother-in-law owns the developer company we’re using for our house so the whole team is super easy to work with and hopefully we’ll be back there by Christmas.
We’ll move back in for a little bit before searching for our dream home.
The reality star dreams of a bayside or country “oasis” for her family.
DREAM HOME
We’re not sure if we want to stay on the bayside or go countryside, and we’re trying to figure out where we want Mila to go to school.
We love the idea of having a bit of a country home out in the hinterlands, but we also adore where we are at the moment.
So it’s either going to be a farm oasis or something bigger and closer to the bay.
I think four or five bedrooms would be ideal, especially with a toddler and with my husband’s company we need an office.
I don’t like anything too modern, but love timber finishes and something with a bit of character.
