There were two interested parties.
Cherie Humel, of Clarke & Humel Property, said there were two interested parties and both wanted to secure a family home before Christmas and to organise schooling for children.
“It sold to a lovely family, not a small family either, I think they are going to fill the property with memories and use every corner of that house,” she said.
The five-bedroom house is particularly suitable for families with teenagers as it has a rumpus on the ground floor, a heated swimming pool and a hot tub plus there is a self-contained granny flat with its own entrance.
The buyers were from inner Sydney.
Mike Baird described North Curl Curl as a hidden paradise.
The Bairds bought the two-storey home in 2017 for $3.6m and modernised it.
According to PropTrack the median house price in North Curl Curl is $3,325,000, up 52.9 per cent in three years.
Mike Baird, 54, a keen surfer, often described North Curl Curl as a hidden paradise and said one of the great walks of the world was along the cliff edge from Curl Curl to Dee Why.
He particularly loved watching the whales migrating along the coast from his covered terrace.
