Former AFL star Justin Blumfield has listed his Brisbane home for sale, just 19 months after making the move to Queensland from Victoria.

Blumfield joined Ingenia Communities as their general manager (residential) in March last year after seven years at Vicinity Centres, which owns and manages commercial real estate assets.

Prior to that, Blumfield played for the Essendon and Richmond football clubs.

Publicly-available property records show Blumfield and his wife Michelle purchased the blue-chip Ascot residence in February last year, with the contract settling on April 1.

Before moving to Brisbane, the couple sold their Brighton home for $3.715 million, also on April 1.
