Construction has begun on a new project in Western Sydney which aims to deliver over 190 apartments in a 34 storey mixed-use development.

Located on Liverpool’s Elizabeth St, the Liverpool development will include a boutique hotel, 6,500 sqm of commercial space and a range of ground-floor retail tenancies.

The development is being constructed by FYVE and aims to cater to the demands of Sydney’s expanding south west corridor.

The Liverpool development will be located in the heart of the suburb's CBD.

Pricing for two bedroom apartments in the development start at $646,500 to $719,500 and three bedroom apartments at $730,000 to $775,000.

According to FYVE co – founder Amen Zoabi, all one bedroom apartments have been sold out – with over 100 apartments in total selling since the project launched in July.

“It’s always satisfying seeing projects like this come to life. A ground-breaking ceremony is the culmination of years of planning and collaboration … It’s truly exciting and I can’t wait for the local community to start reaping its benefits,” Mr Zoabi said.

The Liverpool by FYVE’s ground floor lobby will include three entrances for the hotel, apartment levels and the commercial offices – ensuring privacy and accessibility for travellers, residents and tenants.

The project will included serviced apartments styled by Punthill Apartment Hotels.

FYVE aims to make the apartment ‘a gateway’ to the $5.3bn Western Sydney International Airport, due to open to passengers in 2026.

The development commenced in November 2022 and is due to be completed in 2024.

Punthill’s parent company Veriu Group CEO Zed Sanjana said the development will offer sophistication and service.

“Liverpool is a growing hotspot on the Sydney travel map, with a thriving multicultural food scene, an increasing business and commercial presence, and a very bright future on the doorstep of the new international airport,” Mr Sanjana said.

“Importantly, The Liverpool by FYVE also has an unparalleled central location with regular bus services directly on Elizabeth St, Liverpool Railway Station within a five-minute walk, and key local amenities moments away, such as Westfield Liverpool, Liverpool Hospital, and the Western Sydney University and University of Wollongong campuses.”
Median unit prices in Liverpool have increased over the past 12 months, with the current median price sitting at $475,000.
