A new stage of a residential development in Brisbane’s northside has been fast-tracked to meet continued strong demand for new homes, with locals out in force.
Stage four of The Sanctuary has been released in Warner, half an hour’s drive to Brisbane CBD, with 42 new homes to be created, Ausbuild joint managing director Matthew Bell confirmed.

He said first homes were already under construction at The Sanctuary project with a new community park and playground in advanced stages.
“These amenities have seen a rush in sales in our previous releases at The Sanctuary, and we’re excited to be able to fast-track the release of Stage Four to meet demand,” he said.
Ausbuild, which began life in Redlands 34 years ago, has created 8,900 homes across South East Qld, with their Moreton Bay development popular with families look for work life balance.
Stage Four’s 42 new sites are up to 828sq m with prices for home and land packages starting from $759,000.
Ayla Melit and Jack Mead are looking forward to being able to get into their new home after buying a block at The Sanctuary to stay close to family and friends who live in Brisbane’s northside.
“We’re excited to meet our new neighbours and can’t wait to have Christmas in our new home next year,” Ms Melit said.
“We have a well-designed house and lots of open space. The Warner location is perfect. At The Sanctuary we will be close to the markets, shops, gym, and a new local childcare centre. The schools close by, for the future, all made it an easy choice.”
“I’m about to finish my education degree and staying in the area for work is important to me, so that’s looking possible now too.”
Ausbuild – which has signed up as a three-year sponsor of Redcliffe-based NRL-newcomer The Dolphins – has expansive conservation corridors built into the community plan as well as children’s playgrounds and green spaces. A new childcare centre and a swim school on an adjoining site were also expected to add to the area positively.
“We are investing in considerable community infrastructure including a new signalised intersection on South Pine Road and Coorparoo Road, a major upgrade of Warner Road and new community parks and green spaces,” Mr Bell said.
“Ausbuild is also investing $11.8m to support Warner’s long-term sustainability objectives including the rejuvenation of 11ha of dedicated riparian zones, new wildlife trails, children’s playground and open parklands, and a new cycle and pedestrian network.”
