121 Dare St, Ocean Grove has been listed with a $6.5m-$7m price tag.
Homes that would suit the lifestyles of the rich and famous are among the most viewed properties of 2022 in the Geelong region.
New data from realestate.com.au has revealed the 10 most viewed properties to hit the market in 2022, with homes designed to enjoy incredible coastal views to luxury bushland retreats.
Among them is an insane three-storey luxury home with a rooftop infinity pool, teppanyaki bar and basement garage and a luxury Bellarine Peninsula bayside house which came to be on a Grand Designs Australia episode and has since become a high-priced live-in bed and breakfast.
But perhaps the most eyebrow raising home is a four-bedroom brick veneer house in suburban Grovedale.

A rooftop pool overlooking the ocean is the ultimate luxury statement at a lavish coastal home. The ultra modern four-bedroom house is asking $6.5m-$7m.
Buyers with the cash to splash will lock in 180-degree sea views and lifestyle trappings including an outdoor teppanyaki bar, temperature-controlled wine cellar, imported Italian glass kitchen, home theatre and a five-car basement garage.
Bellarine Property Barwon Heads agent Ben Roberts said the three-level home set a new standard in coastal luxury in one of Ocean Grove’s top streets.
“This is a home that you can live in for the rest of your life – it’s on three levels and it’s got a lift, a sauna, a cellar, home theatre, an epic pool and amazing views,” he said.
“It’s very, very private; even though there’s lots of glazing, it feels like no one is looking in at you.”
82-90 Mirranda Court, Wallington, is listed with $3,500,000-$3,850,000 price hopes.

The five-bedroom residence occupies a 2.02ha rural property in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula.
Bellarine Property agents Toby Lee and Ben Roberts are handling the campaign to sell the property with $3.5m to $3.85m price hopes.
A full renovation has transformed the original 1970s home to a resort-style showpiece with a H-shaped floorplan that features a central kitchen, living and dining area, flanked by parents’, junior and guest wings.
A soaring vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and wood fire creates a sense of grandeur in the living room.
Outside, an electric double gate entry and tree-lined driveway leads to the home with a 4.5m-by-11m salt chlorinated, solar heated swimming pool, a pool house with built-in barbecue and pizza oven and extensive grounds include an orchard of citrus, stone fruit, apple, pear, olive and fig trees.
35 Cemetery Rd, Bellbrae, is listed with $5.5m price hopes.
35 Cemetery Rd, Bellbrae
The architect-designed renovation on the 3.5ha Bellbrae property with uninterrupted views over Spring Creek has wowed families.
The four-bedroom residence emerged from the Delany Architects’ redesign last December, only to go on the market months later as the owners found another rare property in the area.
Torquay agent Leigh Hall-Sullivan listed the striking brick home with $5.5m price hopes.
The floorplan extends over multiple living zones beneath sky-lit cathedral ceilings, with a huge galley-style kitchen has white marble benches, an induction cooktop, dishwasher, integrated ovens plus a butler’s pantry.
The dining area extends to the poolside outdoor area, which has a built-in barbecue, a large pizza oven and the solar and gas-heated infinity pool.
Exposed brick and marble continues as a theme throughout the house, all wrapped up with Christopher Boots pendant lights and natural timber floors.
All rooms have garden views to enjoy the work of award-winning landscape architect Steve Taylor of COS Design.
27 Samphire Drive, Connewarre, sold for $2.72m earlier this year.
27 Samphire Drive, Connewarre
While the remarkable house has an outlook to the 13th Beach golf course, it’s the look inside that is most likely to impress.
This five-bedroom residence is an entertainer’s dream with two outdoor living zones, including an expansive concrete heated pool, plus a formal outdoor decked living area overlooking the course with downlights and manicured lawns amid established garden beds.
Listed by Oslo Property’s Josh McDonald and Harley Lewis, the home sold in November just short of its $2.75m to $2.9m price hopes.
16 Hillson Grove, Ocean Grove.

An American revolution of sorts has led to a remarkable Bellarine Peninsula home that is set to break local records.
The Ocean Grove couple’s luxury Woodlands estate home is the result of an amazing transformation of a late 1970s-era bushland home.
The owners worked with Madewell Studio architect Campbell Doughty and Point Lonsdale builder Ben Jolley to create the remarkable five-bedroom, four-bathroom white weatherboard and rendered brick residence after buying the original ranch-style house in 2013.
The American flavour was driven in part by the family’s regular visits to family in the US, where the owners had previously renovated a Redondo Beach, Los Angeles, home before relocating to Australia.
RT Edgar Ocean Grove agent Aaron Jones carried the listing, which resulted in a $4.45m sale, a Woodlands estate record.
2 Stratford Court, Grovedale, sold for $625,500.
2 Stratford Court, Grovedale
A four-bedroom brick veneer house in Grovedale isn’t your typical home to command this much attention, but a tale of meeting a cooling market.
But after being launched in April with a higher $645,0000 to $695,000 price guide, expectations were whittled away as the weeks, then months past.
Finally an auction campaign, where the seller could achieve an unconditional sale and lower price hopes sparked four bidders, with a fifth waiting in the wings, to secure the property.
In the end not even a rainstorm dampened the biding as the 660sq m property sold for $625,500 to an investor.
Selling agent Michelle Winckle, of Hayeswinckle Highton, said larger homes, particularly with two bathrooms, attracted stronger demand in the rental market. “And also for long-term resale, it holds your value better the more bedrooms, bathrooms and carparking that you’ve got,” she said.
510 Clarkes Rd, Anakie
The remarkable off-grid house near Anakie has sold for $1.65m as a Melbourne family sought to secure a place to escape the rat race from time to time.
They’re following on from the home’s second owners who enthused about the hour-long journey to the striking, bushland home.
“That’s the beauty of this place,” Roger Maloney says. “I’ll take the dog for a walk at night and all you hear is whatever traffic there is in the bush.”
HF Richardson Newtown agent Tony Hyde said it was a great campaign with multiple offers.
Original owner-architect Jonathan Black, completed the home in 2006 and described it as, “a rare and bold, sometimes confronting design and a highly contemporary solution for living in the bush”. Mr Hyde admitted it didn’t suit everyone, given the home was completely off the grid, but also a bold, open design.
Mr Hyde said the home’s open design, with large windows that let the surrounding bushland become the hero indoors, had caught some, who are used to a little privacy, a little off-guard.
The sellers added to architect’s original work, including completing the garden surrounding the residence.

The waterfront Bellarine Peninsula home that shot to fame on Grand Designs Australia continues to demand attention.
The palatial seven-bedroom, six-bathroom pad featured on the show’s first series in 2010 and now operates as one of Australia’s top bed and breakfasts.
A huge rooftop terrace with 360-degree views across Port Phillip Bay and beyond, a 15-seat “gold class” cinema, swanky bar and underground wellness hub are among the extravagant features.
The tri-level home is listed with $4.6m to $4.9m price hopes.
RT Edgar Point Lonsdale agent Felix Hakins said the grand design was in a league of its own.
“It is a home that has got absolutely everything and with their holiday rental side of things, it’s probably the strongest property that we’ve ever marketed around in that area as well.
Hoteliers Ian McDonald and Rob Wilhelm originally conceived the residence as a luxury weekend escape and have since built it into an award-winning holiday accommodation business.
Starhaven Retreat was the top-rated bed and breakfast in Australia in TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice awards last year.
