FIRST HOME
I grew up on Dharawal country in Wollongong, New South Wales. Our 1983 home’s 70s interior featured a brown-tiled kitchen complete with vivid orange benches and a mirrored wall that spanned the length of the dining room.
I recall the sticky leather of the Tessa lounge chairs that grew hot under the living room’s entirely glass ceiling. There was a corduroy lounge in the ‘rumpus room,’ where my sister and I learnt to dance to Michael Jackson’s ‘History’. My father had a mini bar full of 50ml ‘nips’. We loved playing with the tiny Loch Ness monster, unaware it was full of scotch whiskey.
CURRENT HOME
I’m based in Naarm/Melbourne in Brunswick East. My space is minimal and peaceful. I love being surrounded with my friend’s and sister’s prints and collecting unusual objects.
I’m especially attracted to coloured glass and plastics.
My favourite room is the converted garage, with space to dance, a workshop bench for prosthetics and mask making and a punching bag. For a period, I slept in that space, I loved rolling out of bed and directly onto the dance floor.

DREAM HOME
My dream home would include elements of my first home, such as a cedar kitchen and panels of amber glass.
I would love a 70s inspired sunken lounge and a garden with roses. My dream bathroom has a large bath for post-rehearsal magnesium soaks and is situated on the coast for daily ocean swims. I have always wanted a residency space, a big beautiful studio available for other artists to stay and create in.
