“The vendor has shared that Emilie Appelt, who once owned the house, was ahead of her time and also used to train ladies to be bank tellers,” Ms Wenske said.
“The cottage has been well maintained and houses three generous-sized bedrooms and a unique pickle cellar,” she said.
The home, which has a spacious lounge room, is fully carpeted and has high ceilings. Over the year, upgrades have been made with a ceiling fan installed in the master bedroom, a new roof, new front porch as well as an updated bathroom.
Outdoor entertaining area.
There’s plenty of room for outdoor entertaining with an enclosed area as well as a generous backyard where a huge pepper tree takes prides of place.
One of the stone outbuildings houses the pickle cellar and there’s space for storage as well.
“Eudunda is a very popular market at the moment. It used to be a bit of an ageing town but we now see a lot of young families move here,” Ms Wenske said.
The home is being offered for sale with a price guide of $290,000 to $310,000.
