No expense was spared on designer touches across this triple level home.

The widow of Queensland mining billionaire Ken Talbot listed her Brisbane home for sale a month after losing a court battle against the administrator of his $1.1b estate.

Amanda Talbot listed her stunning four bedroom Teneriffe house – built in 2017 – for sale via expressions of interest mid March, with the property on the market for almost a month now.

Mr Talbot, the founder of Macarthur Coal who died in a plane crash in the Republic of Congo almost 13 years ago, reportedly left 48 per cent of his wealth to be split equally between his two older children Liam and Courtney, 30 per cent to a charitable foundation, and the remainder (22 per cent) to be split between his widow Amanda and her two younger children.

The Teneriffe property listing came up almost four weeks after Mrs Talbot’s claim against the administrator of her husband’s billion-dollar estate was dismissed by the Brisbane Supreme Court.

The home is listed for sale via an expressions of interest campaign.

Mrs Talbot was co-owner of the property via a holding company in 2011 when it bought out a second party for $750,000, effectively giving her whole ownership.

Her real estate agent Heath Williams of Place Estate Agents New Farm described the property as “elegant, luxurious and layered” with 486sq m of internal living (525sq m covered).

He said the home which had been “likened to a freehold penthouse, showcases design features inspired by late American Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright”, a Marron Scuro marble staircase with landscaped gardens by Steven Clegg Designs.

The triple level home has an internal lift to all floors, with the feel a “mixture of vintage (1960s European) and Ralph Lauren lighting, coffer ceilings, polished natural timber floorboards and marble throughout”.

No expense was spared in the kitchen which has an expansive stone island breakfast bar, premium integrated Gagganeau appliances including steamer and warmer drawers, Sub Zero Fridges, two dishwashers, a large butler’s pantry, and a Vintec 36 bottle white and red dual climate wine fridge in the kitchen.
