A retro Roseville residence steeped in architectural history has changed hands for $5.25m through Lisa Davies of Ray White Upper North Shore.

During the expressions of interest campaign the property was marketed with a $5m to $5.5m price guide.

Tourmaline at 12 Kimo St was built in 1959, designed by John James, the renowned Sydney architect behind the iconic modernist Reader’s Digest building in Surry Hills.
