A grand Woollahra home with DA approval for a Luigi Rosselli-designed renovation has sold prior to its scheduled March 26 auction after three weeks on the market through Alex Lyons and Hannan Bouskila of Raine & Horne Double Bay.
During the campaign the team was guiding between $16m and $17m, and Lyons confirmed the Wallaroy Rd property sold “somewhere in between”.

Owned by Forbes Chambers barrister and legal academic Stephen Odgers SC and his wife Saraswati Sundrum, the six-bedroom two-storey residence on 910sq m is an Arts and Crafts house with Art Deco motifs throughout. Records show the pair bought it in 2005, but no price is disclosed.

The Rosselli plans will open up the large floor plan to incorporate more natural light and include a custom staircase and an elevator.
