Wallaby great Adam Ashley-Cooper has listed his inner-city investment pad, hoping to make a modest gain on the purchase price of 13 years ago.
Known by the nickname ‘Mr Versatile’, Ashley-Cooper, 40, won 121 caps for Australia, the third most of any Australia player at the time of his retirement in 2021.
He most recently played for the LA Giltinis of Major League Rugby in the US, but is now based permanently in Australia with his wife, Anna Scrimshaw, and their young family.

The split-level apartment was bought for $929,000 in 2011.
It’s now listed with an auction guide of $1.3m.
Records show he bought the two-bedroom apartment with basement parking at 16/66-68 Riley St, Darlinghurst for $929,000 in 2011.
He’s been collecting $900 per week in rent.
It’s now listed for April 30 auction with a $1.3m price guide via Samuel Schumann of Raine & Horne Unlimited.
“It’s currently tenanted, split level, two bedrooms and the only one with parking which is why it’s so popular,” Schumann said.
It’s the only two-bedder in the block with off-street parking.
The block was designed by an award-winning architect.
He says the motivation for the sale is to free up capital. Records show Ashley-Cooper also owns a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Hall St, Bondi Beach, bought for $1.3m in 2012.
He celebrated his 40th at Sean’s Panorama in Bondi Beach in February.

The Darlinghurst apartment offers 91sqm of living space and is at the elevated rear of the Giallo building, designed by multi-award winning architects Frank Stanisic Associates.
It’s just around the corner from a range of good eateries in nearby Stanley St, including the legendary Bill & Toni’s.
