The only change in the two teams for today's Panthers-Tigers clash is the absence of Taylan May in the centres for Penrith.

Paul Alamoti makes his debut as Samoa star May misses the game "due to a personal matter".

Penrith chief executive Matt Cameron told ABC Sport "Taylan's got a few things going on" at the moment and the club didn't want to "complicate things" for him by having him forced to prepare for the game.

Earlier this month, May announced a plan to do a vlog series on his YouTube channel, but days later (on April 9) announced it wouldn't be going ahead.

"I'm gonna be putting it on hold for a bit. I'm gonna focus on my family and that's pretty much it.

"Thought I'd update you and let you know because you stick with me and follow my stuff and I appreciate it.

"[I'm] just gonna have a rest from everything for a little bit."
