Level 11 of 201 Spring St, Melbourne, is being sold by the estate of advertising great and philanthropist Harold Mitchell who passed away earlier this year.
The long-time CBD apartment of late advertising great Harold Mitchell has hit the market with a $5.75m-$6.25m sales pitch.
A prominent philanthropist who achieved a number of works in East Timor, Mitchell was farewelled at a state memorial last month after passing away in February this year after complications following knee surgery.
Mr Mitchell was also on the boards of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and National Gallery of Australia, was awarded a Companion of the Order of Australia in 2010 and named Victorian Australian of the Year in 2013.

His death brought tributes from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan and business luminaries from Bill Guest to Channel 7 executive Lewis Martin.
Mr Mitchell’s long-time home hit the market late last month with photos of the listing familiar from the backdrop of images of him at home in 2020 when he posed for photos ahead of a federal-court decision following Australian Securities and Investments Commission taking legal auction against him over a broadcast deal he was involved in for tennis.

The home’s colourful decor and design scheme have changed little since he was photographed there four years ago.
The property spans the entirety of level 11 at 201 Spring St, with half of level 10 beneath it included on its title.
Kay & Burton listing agent Monique Depierre could not confirm the home’s ownership due to a confidentiality agreement with her vendors, but said the impressive residence was in one of Melbourne’s oldest apartment buildings and the two floors were connected with a private lift.
“It’s over 500sq m internally, so it’s a lot of space,” Ms Depierre said.
The home features extensive entertainment space.
Bathrooms are clad in striking stone tiling from floor to ceiling.
Along with expansive views to the east and west, the four bedroom listing also comes with a separate one-bedroom apartment on a separate title.
The agent added the next owner would likely be someone seeking a larger apartment in the city or a returning expat.
The main residence’s level 11 floorplan includes four living areas, and a main bedroom with an opulent dressing room and ensuite.

A modest kitchen could get little use by its next owners with a wide array of Melbourne’s best dining at the building’s doorstep.
The multistorey apartment features impressive views in multiple directions.
There is a further formal dining room and sitting room, as well as a study on level 10.
The property comes with four carparks.
