“Hawthorn’s a very cosmopolitan area – you’ve got Mitcham Shopping Centre a short stroll away, Unley Park, Hyde Park and Millswood are nearby and we really liked them and liked that it was a short walk to King William Rd from there.

“But the reason we loved this spot is because it’s really quite a quiet street.
“That and there are some other beautiful homes on the street, so we wanted to make sure it complemented the streetscape and fit in with the other stunning homes around us.
“As far as the house goes, it was important to us that all bedrooms have ensuites, and that the home have two master suites, so that it could suit generational living.
“Quality was also important and something we obsessed over.
“Obviously Alan Sheppard is renowned for his quality builds, but we really wanted to make sure it had a timeless quality and was cutting edge technology-wise, so we really agonised over the details, with some of the materials and finishes taking us months to arrive at. I think the result speaks for itself.”

“We wanted to make sure there were several living areas so parents and children could get their own space, and we also wanted it to have a feeling of luxury and elegance as well,” Justin says.

“We’re incredibly proud of it and love that we’ve been able to retain that big backyard – it’s the perfect family home and we hope whoever buys it loves it,” Justin says.
