AFL: Kevin Sheedy has taken AFL to India in hopes of promoting the game.

SURPRISE early money has been wagered on Norwood and Central District after bookmakers framed their opening markets for the 2017 SANFL season.

The market is wide open with four teams — Sturt, the Eagles, South and Port Adelaide — opening under $6.

Bookmaker UBET has not altered the market after bets of hundreds of dollars were wagered on the Redlegs and the Bulldogs, but spokesman Nick Curry said if bets continued to flow for those teams the agency would be forced to slash prices.

“The punters will sort it out from here,” Curry said.

West Adelaide, which won the flag in 2015 only to fall to the bottom last year, has been tipped to struggle again.

THE MARKET (UBET)

SANFL Premiership 2017

Eagles $4.00

South Adelaide $6.00

Adelaide Reserves $6.00

Port Adelaide Magpies $9.00

Centrals $11

Glenelg $19

West Adelaide $29
