Australia's leading manufacturer of wholesale handmade reproduction furniture and designer mahogany furniture, Mahogany by Hand, has agreed terms on a new warehouse lease at Moorabbin in Melbourne’s south-east in a deal brokered by Savills.

The 110-118 Cochranes Road property comprises a 1340 square metre office and warehouse facility including a first floor office showroom of 550 square metres and a warehouse with eight metres internal height. There are also 15 on-site car spaces.

Located in the heart of Moorabbin’s industrial precinct and ten minutes from Moorabbin Airport, the property benefits from exceptional signage rights to Cochranes Road and easy access to the Nepean Highway and the Dingley Bypass.
 
According to Savills Director, Gareth Jackson, who negotiated the deal, the tenant will pay circa $125,290 per annum on a three year lease with options.

Mr Jackson said Mahogany, which has been in Moorabbin for 30 years, was in the market for a property which offered operational efficiencies, room for business growth and a location which was convenient for both staff and clients.

"It was a very good fit for Mahogany’s requirements and offered excellent exposure in a location which offered minimal disruption for current staff and clients,’’ Mr Jackson said.
