The local share market has opened lower following negative sentiment in the US overnight where falls in technology stocks weighed on Wall Street.
At 1030 AEDT on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 stock index was down 21.1 points, 0.4 per cent at 6,028.3 points.
The broader All Ordinaries index was 19.2 points, or 0.3 per cent, lower at 6,103.2 points.
