A joint venture between engineering groups Downer and Ausenco has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract for OZ Minerals' Carrapateena copper gold project in South Australia.
Downer says the initial works are valued at around $100 million, with the full contract value at $312 million.
The scope of work includes engineering, procurement and construction of a new minerals processing plant.
