MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL
VANESSA STEINBERG: NOT QUITE WHITE ★★★½
Melbourne Town Hall, until April 17
Catch the last night of Steinberg's shockingly hilarious act.
Vanessa Steinberg dances on the stage to Black Betty wearing a cross between a hijab and sheitel wig, a reflection of her half Polish, half Palestinian background.
The show promises a “one-hour journey into the observations and experiences of a middle-aged Jewish woman” and delivers an outrageous act including some shockingly hilarious pieces of life advice.
“If your meth dealer still has their teeth, they’re probably the police,” being one.
