This rare Palmdale acreage listing is proving popular with buyers. Picture: McGrath.

Listings are rare in Palmdale, so this pristine acreage has been attracting plenty of attention from buyers.

Tucked into a rural pocket near Ourimbah in proximity to the freeway, agent Col Bernasconi from McGrath said that a big influx of Sydney and Newcastle buyers had been contacting him.

“Interest has been off the chart for this one,” he said.

Tucked away, but minutes from the M1.

Open-plan kitchen overlooking the dining room and fireplace.

“Every room has an ensuite, plus there is this big second paddock with its own driveway where you could add a second dwelling, subject to council approval.”

The three-bedroom house at 158 Palmdale Rd includes three ensuite bathrooms, French oak flooring, double-glazed bi-fold doors and a combustion wood fireplace.

Outside there is a pool, 54-panel solar system, decks and verandas, a double garage, studio, shed, two paddocks and a chicken coop.

Wide open acres for the kids to explore.

The property is in pristine condition.

“People love the multiple living areas that flow to the pool, it is a perfect place for kids because you can watch them swimming outside or playing in the yard while you’re inside,” Mr Bernasconi said.

“It is just a beautiful place to be, surrounded by nature. You’ve got bower birds and the biggest magnolia tree I’ve ever seen.”

Take a dip in the sparkling blue pool.

Coastal style home overlooking the pool.

Just a three minute drive from the M1 and 10 minutes from Ourimbah and Tuggerah train stations, the location is a real hidden gem.

“You’ve got these big neighbouring estates with horses and cows that you wouldn’t even know were there, yet you’re so close to Sydney and Newcastle,” Mr Bernasconi said.

The vendor, psychology graduate Briana Shailer, is heading north closer to family.

Only two properties sold in Palmdale sold last year, which could account for strong interest.

One was the Awaba health retreat on Fern Tree Lane, which was purchased in May last year for $2.89 million.

No. 158 Palmdale Rd is for sale via Col Bernasconi from McGrath Long Jetty and has a price guide of $1.3-$1.4 million.
