Selling agent Jane Wilson, of Tim Morris Real Estate, said the owner bought the property 20 years ago and moved from the UK to transform the historic buildings into her dream home.

With a background in interior design and art, Ms Wilson said the owner had completely transformed the buildings.

“It’s beautifully done – people get there and just go, ‘oh my goodness’,” she said.

“It really does have that wow factor.”

The residence, which features several of its original character details, is split into two main areas that are connected via a door between a studio and the kitchen.

The large studio space and bedroom with walk-in wardrobe occupy the church side, while the kitchen, living area, bathroom and laundry are in the school hall area.

Ms Wilson said she had received several offers and expected more over the weekend.

“I’m expecting half a dozen by the end of this week – we’ve got three solid ones in already,” she said.
