A “very cool and stylish” Collingwood house with a garden mural painted by Canadian hip hop and electronic musician, rapper, DJ and graffiti artist Def3 will go to auction Saturday.
The two-bedroom property at 27 Forest St has a $890,000-$980,000 price guide.
Owner Angie Wilcox has lived in the house with her partner since purchasing it and renovating about six years ago.

A co-owner of Richmond florist Flower Jar, she enjoys working in the house’s garden where the colourful floral-themed mural is a talking point for guests.
“I love the outdoor area the best with the mural and it’s just a great entertaining space out the back,” Ms Wilcox said.
Friend Danny Fernandez, aka Def3, painted the artwork across three days while visiting from Canada.

The renovated property boasts plenty of natural light.
There is even a breakfast bar and servery window to the kitchen.
Fernandez has shared the stage with stars including The Roots, Big Boi, Post Malone and The Hilltop Hoods.
His sixth album was released in 2021 and reached number one on the iTunes Canada hip hop charts and seventh for all genres.
His artwork includes a Denver mural painted as a tribute to the late Robin Williams which he worked on with fellow artist Pat Milbery.

Ms Wilcox said her home’s renovation had upgrading the kitchen, bathroom and main wardrobe’s bedroom.

gated car space and external laundry.
“The lounge room and front room always get lovely sunshine in there,” Ms Wilcox said.
In a quiet street, the home is located within walking distance to the Yarra River Trail, Darling Gardens, public transport, Smith St and Gertrude St.
“We love everything about living in Collingwood, especially walking to the nearest pubs and Brunswick Rd,” Ms Wilcox said.
Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.
Her beagles, Lulu and Maggie, enjoy running around in Victoria Park’s enclosed dog area.
Ray White Ringwood agent Cameron Bailey described the home as “very cool, trendy, exciting and stylish”.
“Most people love the mural, it fits in well with the local style,” Mr Bailey said.
“The house has been very well renovated and it presents perfectly, it’s perfect for inner north living.”
He said the home has been popular with first-home buyers, couples and people wanting to live on a larger block in the inner city.
The auction will be held at 12pm on Saturday.
