Renders of the Ten Cecil building being developed in Prahran.
From more than $1m in art to thousands of dollars in wine, a Prahran project is giving buyers a culture kickstart.
Common areas at the Ten Cecil development in Cecil Place will feature gifted works from the collection of Bensons Property Group founder Elias Jreissati, including pieces by Tom Alberts and David Bromley, in common areas.

The entryway and walls will have art gifted from collection of Elias Jreissati.
Buyers will also receive a few bottles of wine from the developer’s Levantine Hill family winery – with $30,000 worth to be thrown in with the project’s 400sq m penthouse that will have its own cellar.
A look at what the views from one of the living areas will be.
The design looks to have an open kitchen flow through to the eating area with city views.
“We see Prahran as one of Melbourne’s real culture hubs,” said Bensons sales and marketing general manager Andrew Crichton.
Architecture by Fender Katsalidis’ Karl Fender blends glazing, bronze accents and concrete for an eye-catching addition to Prahran near where Chapel St meets High St, at the end of a planned parks precinct that will connect the site to Bangs St.
But the views are expected to be the muse to daily life for residents. Mr Crichton said the 11 homes’ windows faced east, and some would join a rooftop barbecue area with a vista that captures the CBD.
The penthouse will come with $30k worth of wine in the wine cellar.
He said that along with the decor overseen by Sora Interior Architecture and Design, they had encouraged significant local interest.
Starting at 110sq m, the residences will include oak floors, black joinery, and neutral white walls with stone highlights in the bathrooms and kitchen. Some will also feature a bar with a fireplace and glass shelving, a butler’s pantry and a study.
Another concept shot of the living space.
The building is located at 10 Cecil Place.
Two-bedroom homes cost $1.99m, three-bedroom abodes from $2.1m-$4.5m and there is an $8.5m penthouse.
A complementary 52-apartment neighbouring project called Anchor Place on the site’s west side has homes from $650,000.
