13 Topographical Cres, Greenvale, will help raise money for a children’s cancer charity when it goes under the hammer later this month.

There’s a feel-good footy flavour to an upcoming Greenvale auction.

Proceeds from the recently finished four-bedroom Porter Davis home at 13 Topographical Crescent will support the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.

An open house on December 4 will include face painting, free coffee and a visit from charity ambassadors including North Melbourne football captain Jack Ziebell and Essendon’s Andrew McGrath.

Porter Davis’ Shaun Patterson said the single-storey house followed the firm’s Liverpool design, with $255,000 worth of upgrades and bonus inclusions — from $40,000 worth of Adriatic furniture to a private basketball court.

Satterley Victorian and Queensland general manager Jack Hoffman said the elevated, 672sq m block in their True North estate was donated for the charity auction and would have a view across Greenvale Reservoir making it a drawcard for families.

A chance for some backyard hoops should also keep the kids happy.

The four-bedroom floorplan includes an open-plan living space with a bright kitchen with a walk-in pantry that receives plenty of natural light, and a study nook so parents can keep an eye on kids doing homework while preparing dinner.

Barry Plant Gladstone Park’s Ghizlaine Digby said the home’s single-storey floorplan was practical for families or young couples and the home also had views to Melbourne’s CBD skyline.

The December 4 open for inspection with Ziebell and McGrath attending runs from 11am.

The home is expected to make $890,000-$950,000 when it is auctioned at 11am on December 10.
