293-295 Monaco St, Broadbeach Waters has sold in a $12.5 million deal.
A lavish Gold Coast mansion that was the backdrop in several international film productions has been snapped up for $12.5 million.
Property records reveal 293-295 Monaco St, Broadbeach Waters sold in a hushed off-marked deal in June before settling last month.
Manicured gardens set the scene around the house.
Make a splash in the pool.
It last sold in October, 2021 for 11.6 million.
The huge 2411sq riverfront property has hosted a range of film and TV productions including the UK’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here in 2017; Aussie kids series, Elephant Princess; and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, shooting San Andreas in 2015.

The latest deal for vendor Brian McMaster was done off-market by Kollosche Broadbeach, property records show.
“We met some people who were looking for something on Monaco St of that size and scale and there wasn’t much around so we approached the owners of that property (293-295 Monaco St),” principal Michael Kollosche said.
“They were going to do a significant renovation so they were open to selling and so we negotiated a deal off-market.
“That street is always in high demand because of the large blocks and proximity to amenities including Pacific Fair, The Star, Broadbeach retail and dining precinct and most of the private schools. It’s quite tightly held so it’s become even harder to acquire.”
There are plenty of places to entertain.
Gates welcome guests down a long cobblestone driveway.
The house was previously marketed as one of the Gold Coast’s most stately residences with 39m of river frontage.
A grand circular driveway framed by hedges and with a tall palm at its centre leads to the manor, where quality finishes include solid rose mahogany floors, beautiful chandeliers and French double doors opening onto sandstone verandas on both levels.
The formal lounge area has recessed ceilings and an open fireplace.
It spills onto the terrace and landscaped lawns leading to the river’s edge, where there’s a 8m x 6m jetty and boardwalk, perfect for setting off on aquatic adventures, or simply toasting the sunset with a glass of bubbles in hand.
Inside the stylish abode.
The home is appointed with a large patio overlooking a ceramic tiled pool, which has a diving board and is flanked by twin cabanas.
One of the sandstone cabanas has a built-in barbecue, fridge and surround-sound audio system, while the other has an outdoor shower and powder room.
PropTrack data shows Broadbeach Waters is the latest Gold Coast suburb to hit the $2m club with a median house price of $2,018,383.
