Greenwich has a new suburb record with the $14m plus sale of a large eight-bedroom house just above Greenwich Wharf and with views of Lane Cove River.
More than 80 groups inspected the Robertson St property and it was sold prior to auction to a local family who liked the view and the sheer size of the home, suitable for multi-generational living.
The home has set a record sale price for the North Shore suburb of Greenwich.

James Bennett, of Belle Property Lane Cove, said the tri-level house wasn’t a waterfront but it beat the previous record, of $13.57m set in 2021 for the house next door which was a deepwater front property.
Mr Bennett added that 12 Robertson St was the biggest house in Greenwich with 705 sqm internally and 1535 sqm of land. A gate at the bottom of the garden opens to a path and the public wharf in moments.
The Greenwich peninsula is tightly held, number 12 Robertson was owned for more than 29 years by the Robinson family while the late Keith Tierney, a keen sailor, and his wife Judy lived at number 14 Robertson St for more than 30 years.

“People are discovering Greenwich,” Mr Bennett said.
“There are only a handful of peninsulas on the harbour and this one is close to the city, has its own primary school, village and Greenwich homeowners can walk to Wollstonecraft station,” he said.
The median house price for Greenwich is $4.025m, according to PropTrack, up 14.2 per cent in five years.
