Owners Rez Tal and Ev Meyer bought the property in January, 2021 before putting their own stamp on it.

“It was renovated before we bought it but renovated in a different style,” Mr Tal said.

“We went in and basically changed things around and gave it our own unique style.

“We changed the doors, the colour scheme, the lighting and added chandeliers.

“The people before us did a really beautiful job and I like to say we just finalised it.

“We really just put the soul into the house.”

The couple spent six months working on their design vision and bring it to life.

“My partner travelled the world for many years and has visited all different locations and areas,” Mr Tal said.

“She basically got all of her inspiration and ideas from world travel.

“She’s very talented.

“The design is all her, I’m just the execution man and make everything happen.”

The family, who are based in Byron, would spend their weekdays in the house on the Gold Coast before returning south for weekends.

“We stay on the Gold Coast for our children’s schooling,” Mr Tal said.

They decided to rent out the property on weekends and listed it on short stay accommodation sites with many holiday-makers posting glowing five-star reviews.

The renovation even caught the eye of producers at Channel 9 hit show Dream Listing Byron Bay.

“We filmed Dream Listing last year,” said Mr Tal, who is one of the Byron Bay real estate agents featured on the show.

“This house should appear in week seven of the show.

“They basically documented us producing the video that is now on the listing and used online”

Every single design element has been carefully thought out.

The property hit the market on Sunday and is already attracting plenty of interest.

Mr Tal, who is the marketing agent for his own home at 12 Nirvana Court, runs Byron Bay and Hinterland Property.

“We have bought another house on the Gold Coast and so the house is surplus to our needs,” he said.
