Popstar Amy Shark has a cracking new beachside home.

Singer-songwriter Amy Shark has made the move to Sydney from the Gold Coast.

However, she’s seemingly not invested her money following her relocation, instead opting to buy near the NSW/Queensland border.

The eight-time ARIA award-winner has spent $2.1m on a cool entertainer in Casuarina on the Tweed Coast with her husband and business manager Shane Billings.

LJ Hooker Kingscliff secured the sale after initially seeking between $2.195m to $2.35m.

It had failed to sell last year with another agency.

The single-level contemporary home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

It’s just 200m from Casuarina Beach, set between Kingscliff and Cabarita Beach.

The 2017-built home, marketed as a “sleek and sophisticated, bespoke beachside pad”, was designed to take in the outdoors.

The open-plan kitchen, living and dining spaces open through custom sliding doors to a lawn, with a covered barbecue area, plus pool and an in-ground fire pit.

Her latest social media shows it has already been in use with young family members roasting marshmallows.

Shark updated her 225,000 followers last week that she’d made the move to Sydney, posting a video of a rooftop alfresco area with pergola and greenery in Potts Point complete with Opera House views.

“Here’s an update! I moved to Sydney. I love u, I miss u. More soon,” Shark posted.

The move has prompted Shark and Billings to lease out their former Gold Coast home.

She’s seeking a tenant at $2300 a week for the four-bedroom Broadbeach Waters riverfront that the couple bought for $2.25m in 2018.

Pets are negotiable, with lawns and garden maintenance included in the rent, as well as pool service.

Earlier this week, Shark was at Kirribilli House for Nova FM’s annual Backyard Cricket game between Kate Ritchie and Fitzy’s teams.

Shark and Billings met in 2007 when they were both working at the Gold Coast Titans.

Shark was the video editor and Billings was a financial manager.

According to PropTrack, the median house price in Casuarina is $2.09m. That’s down 0.5 per cent over the past 12 months.
